Top recommended brands include Tedibar, Aveeno, Cetaphil, and Sebamed.
⚠️ Caution:If baby has persistent rashes, cracks, oozing, or severe dryness, consult a pediatrician/dermatologist—avoid switching products daily.
Parents worry products will trigger rashes or dryness. Moms often say keeping routine simple and consistent works best; frequent product switching can worsen irritation.
Here's what moms in our community shared based on their own experience.
Tedibar soap, shampoo, and lotion work very well for sensitive skin.
Aveeno, Cetaphil, and Sebamed are also gentle and popular choices.
On pediatrician advice: moisturiser Atogla/Tedibar, body wash Chicco Mild Wash head to toes, powder if needed Sebamed baby powder, minor allergy powder Neosporin powder.
Mamaearth head-to-toe is best for shampoo and body wash (doesn't burn eyes); Himalaya powder is good; Chicco body lotion.
Aveeno single bottle as body wash and shampoo, pediatrician recommended. Powder not recommended for this young a baby.
Cetaphil - my baby has eczema from birth and it's the only brand that suits him. My son got rashes from J&J.
Tedibar soap, shampoo and lotion is also good. For eczema I've been using Atogla cream from Tedibar and Sebamed soap. Lately Boroline cream has been a game changer, skin stays soft for 8-10 hours with no itching.
For eczema and rash, Sudocrem works really well.
Mother Sparsh unscented is good. Cetaphil is good. Tedibar shampoo is good.
Mustela.
We used Himalaya cow ghee one as newborn but the doctor suggested not to use that, so we switched to Cetaphil and now Baby Forest. For moisturiser we used Atogla from Tedibar, then Cetaphil, Aveeno, now Baby Forest.
I've used Sebamed from the start and it's doing great.
