Empowering mothers worldwide through connection, support, and shared experiences ✨
Some pain weeks after a C-section is common; gentle care, doctor-approved cream, painkillers and an abdominal belt can help, but persistent pain or fever should be checked by a doctor.
⚠️ Caution:Severe stitch pain, fever, redness, or discharge can signal infection or a healing problem - get checked by your doctor promptly.
Moms worry that ongoing stitch pain means something is going wrong with their healing. The community reassures that gentle care and support helped them recover, while strongly urging a doctor's check if there is severe pain or fever so nothing serious is missed.
Here's what moms in our community shared based on their own experience.
One mom took painkillers for about 2 weeks after the operation and did very gentle massage on the stitches with a cream suggested by her gynecologist. An abdominal belt for support can also help. Consult your doctor if the pain is severe or you feel feverish, and get the stitches checked to be sure they are healing fine.
