Moms and doctors advise paracetamol (Calpol/P-250) every 4-6 hours for fever under 101F, dosed by weight. For 101F+ or fever that won't drop, doctors may add ibuprofen (ibugesic) after a gap. Wipe with lukewarm (not cold) water, keep clothing light, and room at ~25C.
⚠️ Caution:Ibuprofen is generally only for babies over 6 months and never on an empty stomach - confirm with your paediatrician. Any fever in a baby under 3 months (100.4F / 38C or higher) needs same-day medical attention. Never alternate medicines or exceed doses without your doctor's guidance.
