Some moms report Lanzol helped severe reflux when prescribed, while others felt it had limited effect. Always doctor-guided.
⚠️ Caution:Do not self-medicate reflux medicines in infants. Always follow pediatric dosing strictly.
Parents feel helpless seeing reflux pain and want safe relief. Moms emphasize that outcomes vary and doctor guidance is essential.
Here's what moms in our community shared based on their own experience.
We used Lanzol Junior from month 3–5. It wasn't very effective for us, and we stopped after diarrhea.
Our baby had severe reflux pain, and Lanzol worked well. Intake improved a lot after starting it (as prescribed).
I experienced this with my baby at 4.5-5 months; she was advised a 1/4 tablet with breast milk or formula milk.
My doctor advised Rantac syrup instead. My baby used to throw out a lot of milk.
Hold upright after every feed for 30 mins even at night, burp in the middle and end of feeds, lay her down on an incline, and give smaller feeds more often. Medication didn't help much for us; it eventually settled by 4.5 months.
We used it starting at around 6 weeks and continued till 14 weeks, tapering slowly (daily for 1 week, alternate days the 2nd week, every 3 days the next). Reflux was almost gone by week 12.
I gave it and it did help. I gave it for almost 2 months.
For continuous vomiting and crying that prevents sleep, doctors sometimes give Lanzol for a few days, though reflux generally gets better on its own with age.
